Jeff was trained by an old school professional who believed that quality and service were paramount in running a successful business. Being trained in both residential and commercial construction from "ground thru turn-key" played an important role in what would become JAG General Contractor, Inc. today.

Jeff's reputation afforded him the privilege of building a custom home in Texas and then he was called to Lake Tahoe to build the boardwalk and the descending steps. Shortly after his arrival here, in 1985, he interviewed and was chosen out of 17 contractors to build all of the movie sets for the movie "Navy Seals" starring Charlie Sheen.
